Description
The dSPACE DS2211-04 is a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) I/O board designed for simulation and measurement of automotive signals, especially for engine and vehicle dynamics applications. It provides signal conditioning for typical signal levels of 12 V, 24 V and 42 V in automotive systems and supports dual-voltage systems.

The DS2211-04 features a unique angle processing unit that supports high-speed generation and measurement of crank angle-related signals to simulate engines running at up to 29,000 rpm. For more demanding I/O requirements, multiple boards, such as multiple DS2211s, can be cascaded. The boards operate angle-synchronously when their time base terminals are connected.
