The dSPACE DS802-05 is a PHS link board that enables the modular and flexible design of real-time systems based on the PHS bus. It allows the spatial division of the PHS bus by arranging I/O boards in several expansion boxes. This facilitates the integration of I/O boards in expansion boxes without their own processor boards. The DS802-05 ensures that all I/O boards - regardless of whether they are used in the master or slave system - appear to the processor board as if they were part of a single large system. Communication between the master system and the slave systems takes place via optical connections.
